allenchristopherChristopher Allen, MBA, ISO Certified, Black Belt, currently holds the position of Western Region Area Quality Assurance Manager with Carmeuse Lime & Stone where he has the responsibility to lead the Western Region’s interests in developing and executing a long term Quality Assurance Strategy with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and customer focus. In addition he also oversees the laboratory at each facility in the Western Region.

Prior to this, Mr. Allen held the position of Quality Manager with the Barnes Aerospace Division in Phoenix, AZ as well as Quality Management Systems Manager with Hexcel Corporation in Casa Grande, AZ, where he was largely responsible for the AS9100 Rev C and Nadcap quality management systems. From 2000–2004, Mr. Allen was the Divisional Manager of Manufacturing Support at Ace Hardware Corporation, Paint Division, in Matteson, IL and prior to that he was the Corporate Quality Manager at Ryerson Steel Chicago, IL. He started his career as a production laborer at the Inland Steel Company. Along the way, Mr. Allen served as an Adjunct instructor with DePaul University in Chicago where he helped develop and deliver Six Sigma DMAIC training.

Mr. Allen holds a Master of Business Administration from Olivet Nazarene University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Operations from DeVry University, and a Certificate in Quality Management from DePaul University. He recently completed Green Belt and Lean Six Sigma certifications through Villanova University and he is a certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence through the ASQ.
